Storyline: Seabiscuit is the story of a down and out horse who brought three down and out men together to perform the impossible and bring hope to a distraught nation. Taking place during the Depression, when America was at it's worse, the country turned to the extrodinary horse and the people that brought out his potential. Crooked knees and inate laziness didn't stop Seabiscuit from having a huge heart and desire to win. He was competitive, quirky and and loyal to his trainer and jockey. A so-so racehorse, it wasn't until Seabiscuit was paired with hardluck jockey Red Pollard, that he started showing the country just what a little determination can do. Along with Tom Smith's unorthadox ways of training, Charles Howard's tenacity and Red's talent, Seabiscuit rose to become one of the most loved, successul and record breaking racehorses in American history.
